I brought their Dress shoes back in days and didn't use for a while. When i finally use it the sole made foot print all over the office. Customer service was no help. Not sure it was bad but $175 shoes experice was like not to drop money on this brand.

They're more premium than even Johnston & Murphy. They rank up there with G.H. Bass & Co., Allen Edmonds and Cole Haan.

Damn it... Not again... I can't not buy something from Ecco every time they're on sale. Used to sell shoes and got hooked on Eccos about 20 years ago. (Expensive habit) I used to get 60% off when was in sales and loved every pair I have ever owned. I have warm their gym shoes, golf shoes (I don't play golf), dress shoes, loafers, sandals, hiking boots, got my nephews Eccos when they still made kids shoes (worked in kids shoes store). I wish they still made kids shoes so I can get them for my kids, but SOL. I don't think I have owned a more comfortable shoe in any style ever. They are not all great looking, but where they lack in looks they well make it up in comfort and durability. Find a pair you like and just get them, you will not regret it.

Very comfortable shoes. Only thing is their white soles are very difficult to clean. It's not your typical rubber.

Did Ecco ever get their quality issues fixed? I use to love their products but the quality went downhill years ago and I stopped buying their shoes.

Thanks! I'm a big fan of Ecco. If you haven't shopped Ecco before, stick with one of their better known lines, like the Soft 7.

The Soft 7 is $65 after discount, which is a solid deal.

The Kyle, Collin and some others can be hit or miss.

I've been wearing Ecco for years. I primary buy them for comfort. What I have noticed over the years is the difference in quality, comfort and even sizing varies so much now between models. It used to be everything I bought from them had the same quality among their lines. Having said that, I still wear Ecco's as my daily shoes.

I had a Century tie back in 2007 that held up to heavy use for 3 or 4 years. I traveled a lot and wore them more than you are supposed to. They never really wore out. I still have them in the attic. LOL
