It has both the ports but ships with a 65W Type-C Charger. Expand my original Post or check the Lenovo Product spec for this model in the first post of this thread.

It does not have any hinge issue. This chassis is here since last year and there is no such issue reported. This does not have those Y series smaller hinges in the first place.

It is adequate for that but the quality of the display is not suitable. So, you may need to connect it to a good quality external monitor.

And I am asking for what purpose you want to buy this laptop. if you want portability and longer battery life, obviously that Legion gaming laptop is not gonna help you, despite its better performance. On the other hand, if you want gaming then this one is a poor choice. So, unless you specify what will be your use cases, it's hard to suggest.
Bought this for my daughter from the Costco 50 off coupon. So, got it for slightly cheaper than this price and get the extra warranty.

Anyway, how is the embedded GPU? Its frankly awesome.

This is replacing my daughter's dell 2-in-1 that is almost 6 years old. It has embedded intel 620. The benches for the new GPU are roughly 4x the 620. The only embedded GPU that currently beats this is the Iris Xe gpu. To put it in comparison to older laptops that did have a dedicated GPU, this embedded from AMD is roughly somewhere between the performance of a mobile 960 and a mobile 1060. I was impressed to say the least.

Edit. Realized ai bought the 3 not the 5. But likely comments still apply since very similar machines.
Get a Type-C to HDMI 2.0 adapter and use the Type-C Port which supports DP 1.2 output.

Well, these two laptops belong to complete different category and can't really complement each other. So, decide why you want to buy a Laptop in the first place.

HDMI 1.4b

What decade are we living in? My 7 year old Dell has the same. 4k at 30hz is absurd in 2021.

That does not solve the problem.

DP 1.2 only supports 4k @ 30hz as well.
Really? What's your source on that information? May be try reading the below article
https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/hdmi...pc-monitor
Almost all 4K 60 Hz monitors released in 1 or 2 years back, come with a DP 1.2 only. I'm running one since 2015.
