$7 was justifiable, but why does $10 seem outrageous 🤣

Apparently it is too much money for most.

This is the worst item in the ONE+ lineup. Didn't move much air, was loud as hell while not doing so, was much more poorly-made than the rest of the line, and worst of all it rattled so badly it distracted from anything I was trying to work on.

I didn't even keep it for parts. Right into the trash can.
I agree, and I used it so much that the rattling turned into a dead motor. But it was so useful that I bought a new motor for $7 and replaced it 😃 Still going strong on that one ...

Def better fans in this size and even price range, but for the portability(battery powered) and because I'm already on Ryobi I've been glad to own one of these. And yah, I'm one of those for whom the extra $3 in shipping is probably going to be a deal-breaker on getting another Wink

Granted, I don't use it much (at home I have other options) but this has always been popular when I go camping/glamping in the summer months, for example. As has the Ryobi misting fan that I also picked up due to the heat waves this summer in the Pacific Northwest. Or for infrequent power outages. One of those things you might not use much but are glad you have when you do need it.

$50 for new, or $40 w/shipping for not new. I prefer the former.

The rattle is annoying, but seems to go away if I put it upside down lol

I think it's a shopping psychology thing. For me, it's easier to justify spreading out the $7 shipping by buying 2 tools and you can reasonably keep the total order at under $100. At $10 shipping, it only starts to make sense to spread out the shipping cost to 3 tools... and that will likely drive the order total above $100.

Sry to hear that. I bought two of them a couple months ago and both are fine (so far)..

Wanted to but this yesterday, but saw the $10 shipping and didn't. That's just too much. $10 more and I get it now, not in 10 days.

Not sure if this is the "new" lowest price now now but I got this fan for $20 + $7 shipping several months ago for your reference. There is nothing special about the fan. The only advantage is the portability. Otherwise, it feels like the $10 ones that you can buy at WalMart when fan goes on sale. Maybe wait a bit to see if it comes back to $20.

If you need one now, $40 is still better than $50 at home depot. DTO blemish item is essentially new. I have bought over 8 times from past years and never once received items not new. Even the boxes were new (same condition as if I order items from home depot delivered).
