Every time there's a reboot, the DHCP range changes. I have it set to 192.168.1.XXX but if the power goes out or an update is installed or whatever it will be changed to 192.168.0.XXX or 192.168.4.XXX or something random. It makes my pihole useless until I go in, manually change the LAN IP and reboot again.
There's also no way to pick your channel so if you live somewhere congested, you have to hope that the router picks something good.
Overall it works fine most of the time but I definitely would not buy it again.
I currently have a Google mesh system that I haven't really had any issues with. But seems like wired would be better.

If you don't have any need to upgrade, don't worry about it. This theoretically should work great. I have the deco m9+ and love them. Wired setup, w the router in the basement and AP's on the first and second floor.
You should be able to utilize these as access points. Just set them up as access points.
