Per the 3C's, this is the lowest price ever. This unit is perfect for 1-2 person households, or for making side dishes. While 3Qt isn't a substitute for a "full size" 6qt for a 4-5 person household, for couples it's plenty enough. Also, the Ultra is InstantPot's top of the line 3qt model (not that there's that much difference in practice, but it's worth pointing out).
