Walgreens [walgreens.com] has select 2-Ct Colgate Toothpase + $3 in Walgreens Cash Rewards on sale for $3 when you follow the instructions below. Select free in-store pickup or ship to store pickup where available.

Note: Availability for pickup may vary by location.

Instructions:
  1. Log into or Register for a myWalgreens Membership to be able to clip coupons (free to join [walgreens.com])
  2. Select 2 items (you may mix & match):
  3. 'Clip' the $3 coupon on the product page.
    • Coupons are typically one per account.
  4. Add quantity of 2 to cart and proceed to checkout.
  5. Price will be 2 for $6.98 - $3 w/ coupon = 2 for $2.98 + $3 in Walgreens Cash Rewards (bag fee may apply but it should be removed if you do not use a bag at pickup).

Once I tried the (vertically boxed, and more expensive) higher percentage 3% peroxide version, I haven't gone back to this.

Loving these Walgreens Cash deals and wondering why I didn't create an account sooner. Have stocked up my toothpaste drawer for a year or two

Reminds me of the old Discover Kohls deal, where if you spent $10.01 you got $10 off. Was great until they realized how many people caught onto that

I got 1 item OOS too. I went on WG Live Chat and explained the situation, and they manually gave me the $3 WG Cash. Hope that helps!

Question for anyone so I can maybe help with future deals.

I've always seen "MyWalgreens" etc on the coupons on the webpage for items/coupons that give WAG cash.

This deal only shows the $3 off in red under the colgate, but it does show the $3 rewards in the summary.

The only way I would of know is actually going to checkout not thinking I got any Wcash for the purchase.

Is this just a website error? Or what am I missing?

EDIT: I ask because it's more than free. I got $ bucks off a $6 total (2x3) and then $3 bucks and change in $WAG bucks

EDIT: Weird, the coupon wasn't showing on either the items' pages or in my coupons. But when I went to the ad page and clicked on it, it appeared in my account.

You are right. I believe it has to do with how the points are rewarded. If it's spend x$ to get y points, you have to spend that x$ AFTER any pts are used for purchase. I didn't understand that. I had bought $20 worth of pizza to earn $5 in pts (buy $20, get $5). But I used $10 of pts so it didn't qualify -- I had to buy $30 of product & use $10 in pts to qualify. In this case with the toothpaste, the deal is just buy 2 toothpaste, get $4. So has nothing to do with spend level, just the # purchased. So pts can be used.
