But why does this 43" Vizio V436-G1 use 50% more electricity than my 50" Samsung NU6900?
No its not, its got higher brightness and local dimming. This and the m437-g0 are the best 43" tvs you could get for the most part.
good luck finding them, they have been discontinued for well over a year now.
