pick one.
Youtuber Project Farm has a water hose comparison video , pretty interesting
LINK!!!
I've bought so many different versions of these hoses with 5 star reviews and every single one has failed under a year. Of course, the product is no longer available when it comes to claiming the 1 year warranty. The company just pops up another hose under a new company/name.

I'm either never going to get one again or will just get the cheapest one every summer and treating it as disposable.

hmm. thought this look familiar somehow. looked up my amazon app, yeap, it was called Cr.en.ova garden hose that i bought back in 2018 from some deal posted.

i honestly don't remember how that performed, which is a bad thing because that means i don't remember the last time i used it. I have 5 water hoses around my garden, to date most are heavy duty bought from costco. those expandable ones either star leaking between the nozzle and the hose, or punctured easily if you have any plants with thorns. i suppose they are great for specific purchases, but the only amazon deal that i bought that i can recommend is ugly green Flexzilla hose.
Flexzilla hoses are amazing! Light and flexible. Just wish they weren't neon green, but at least they won't get mowed that way.

In the past 2.5 years I bought 4 of them, all 50ft:
- latest one started to sprinkle after about a month so I got a refund.
- one crapped out in spring because in winter I forgot to store it in a warmer place; lasted one full year
- another one crapped out after almost one year;
- I have one that we bought past summer and today is still alive, no high hopes though...
My Conclusion: they are not 'heavy-duty', you need to avoid storing/keeping them in high/low temperatures, do not leave water with pressure in them and you need to be lucky and receive a feasible item. In fall they go on sale more often...

Another example of SD promoted crap on frontpage.

For a hose that will fail in a year, $25 is a big price tag. I didn't believe it until I bought one myself. This kind of product should be labeled as disposable hose. Once it fails, it's almost impossible to have it repaired like a rubber hose.

These are actually good hoses as long as you don't leave them in the sun/weather or under pressure for too long. I keep mine in the garage, shed, or outdoor storage bin.

They're also simple to fix *when* they leak. Costs about 50 cents and takes 5 mins to fix. I've had a few of these (different brand) that I've been using for 10 years now.

To fix: Essentially, you cut the bad part out and put back together with 2 hose clamps and a coupling. If the leak is near the end, just cut the end off and reattach.

After using/trying a lot of different hoses I now will only buy Zero G Hoses. Others might be cheaper/are but this one is far superiors. After 4 1/2 years finally had one fail. Called mfg they had me take pictures of ends cut off hose. No receipt needed Within 3 days they refunded me 100%. 5 year warranty on hose. Never a coiling issue with these. I leave them out in the sun Calif all the time. Go here watch video https://www.apexhose.com/lightwei...e-zero-g/. They even have another upgraded hose with a 10 year warranty.
1. Leaving any hose under pressure is bad idea. Pressure builds up with heat
2. I leave it in sun all the time
3. I use hose reel wish it but not needed.
4. Super light
5. Lot of volume - not restricted

I have the shorter version. It's gets the job done and won't impress your neighbors. The attachments like the sprayer and hanger are utter crap. The hose itself is functional but not as functional as a 50 ft or 100ft commercial grade hose but does tidy up better.

Typical practice for a Chinese brand. It's a shame that Amazon is not doing anything to hold sellers responsible for their advertisement.
We are surrounded by cheap, low-quality Chinese knockoffs everywhere. I am not sure if it is a good idea to have cheaper products that do not last long. I would rather buy a more expensive but sturdy and reliable products, which are hard to find these days.

Can these be used with a pressure washer? I bought one in the past, different brand but my pressure washer won't work with it
Yes, because pressure washer increases pressure AFTER the water goes through the hose
