I only get $8 off for kickbacks anyways since I have the Hookup discount on my account but still, I'd like to pay $8 less if I could. It's not every month anyways, if I'm out of town or out a lot on the weekends I usually end up going over anyways.
I think you can stack the Target promo with this one. Other's have said they've stacked the Target promo with their current free year from Apple.

I just tried it on my phone. Went to the Target app, clicked to redeem the promo from there and it opened up the Apple TV app. The promo details were shown (4 free months) and when I approved with my Face ID it said it is only for new subscribers. Might try again after my free year is up in November, promo should still be valid for Target.
I think yours will work since T-Mobile's doesn't seem to be for new subscribers only.
