Thumbs up to both companies. Ego is the shiz. Once you get in their ecosystem you will be hooked. Get a few batteries to rotate and bob's your uncle. Great quality, even better warranty program. In addition Acme stands by them. Class act when I had to return a faulty blower.
Good deal. I bought a refurbed hedge trimmer. Works great. Agreed that the extra battery is a no brainer. These things are $100/ea new.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they tell you which battery you get with most of them. The 2.5Ah battery comes in two flavors: BA1400 and BA1400T. The "T" gives you a 5 bar fuel gauge, and the other relies on a different color LED - not great if you're color blind.
I have a 1/4 of an acre, and I can do my lawn with enough charge to do the front again... that's mulching. That's also with the 5 Ah battery.

Wouldn't take the risk as these reconditioned units only come with a 1 year warranty. If something happens after a year, you're SOL

I bought a factory conditioned string trimmer from them recently. The trimmer was obviously used, but worked without issue. The battery was the old kind, with the color change LED (instead of the five sector ring), but that's no problem.

I have to buy a hedge trimmer, but wondering whether to buy the one without a battery or with a battery. I already have a 7.5Ah and two 2.5Ah batteries (one came with the string trimmer and one with a new leaf blower). The trimmer and the blower don't really run out. I really need the the extra batteries for the mower. I have a large front and back yard (0.5 acre plot). The problem is that the 2.5Ah batteries hardly last on the lawn mower. You would think that they should last 1/3rd the time as the 7.5Ah, but they don't. Not by a long shot. And if god forbid the grass is a bit tall or a bit wet, they overheat too easily, and I hardly get to use them for two back and forth passes. Practically I just have to wait till the 7.5Ah battery charges again. The 2.5Ah batteries are well suited for the handheld machines, but they don't really work well with the mower. So I'm wondering getting the extra battery with the hedge trimmer is going to be a waste of the $35 price difference (between the battery-less one and the one with a battery). If I get one, theoretically I'll have and extra 7.5Ah's for the mower (via three 2.5Ah batteries), but practically I know all three put together won't last as much as the single 7.5Ah battery. Maybe half that.

I probably would have pulled the trigger on the snow blower kit for $429 ($449-10%=$404 + $25 special shipping charge) except I'm still mad I missed the deal at woot for $364 for a *new* one.

Only thing left on my list to get is the cultivator attachment which isn't available in this deal
Got this last winter when it was on sale for $135. Definitely a hard deal to come by. The price is a bit steep, but I've used it a ton already. Great for tearing up ground for a firepit.

I've been waiting for a deal on the pole saw for over a year without any luck. Seems like the attachments don't have many good deals since eGO and HD broke up and the supply chain has tightened.

Any opinions on this 21" deck mower w/ one 56V 7.5Ah battery vs Greenworks mower with 25" deck and two 4Ah batteries for a 1/3-1/2 acre thick southern bermuda lawn? The extra cut width would be nice on the Greenworks, but I don't know if it's worth it (plus customer service differences). We currently have a 30" Toro TimeMaster, so anything we get will be smaller.

I've been eyeing the hedge trimmer for awhile, and it's always $99. For $30 more another battery is a no-brainer.
I have the hedge attachment, it's a beast. I feel like Freddie Kruger with that thing.

Someone makes a crosscut electric...Ryobi maybe? I think we will start seeing a lot of crosscuts coming out soon.

It completely changed the paper shredding industry.

Interested in the snow blower. Anyone know if it will run with on a 7.5 and 5.0 battery? Or do both batteries need to be the same?

Does anyone have experience with the mower?

LM2102SP [acmetools.com] with a 7.5Ah 56v battery for $359 after coupon code.

Seems like a good deal. My lawn is pretty small at about 5000 sq ft so one battery so one charge should be enough. I do prefer to mulch rather than bag though.

Are there any other brands/models that's better value?
Have 6000 sq ft fescue lawn with about half on significant slope and have used similar model for over two years. No issues with finishing on one charge,
