This is horrible. Tagging the ASD community like if they have a problem. Everybody is different in their own way.

So should they get rid of the deaf American Girl dolls ? The blind ones? The ones in a wheelchair ?

What's the sole purpose of these dolls? To create awareness or to use them as a marketing tool to make money out of pity.

So that little boys and girls get to see dolls/toys/"people" that "look like me?" You are entitled to believe that the "sole purpose" of these dolls is to make money (of course, corporations have a legal mandate to maximize shareholder value), but then you're going to need to extend your cynicism to every doll that isn't 1920s Mainstream White America wrapped up in a bow. In any case, your comment has nothing to do with the deal, or whether it's a good price. Enjoy your Saturday.
