I'm sorry to hear that. That's so frustrating. I redeemed 2 fountain drinks and a chips earlier today without issue. I would be a superstar (in my own mind at least) if I could explain why certain codes didn't work throughout these games. It usually seems random, but none of them working does seem like something else.
You can try contacting them through Facebook (or whatever they're called now) Messenger. They have given me extra codes when certain ones have glitched in the past.
Also, it's far more likely that the contest's coupon generator is just buggy and not communicating with the registers to show when a coupon is activated. The registers beeping an inactive barcode is likely what's causing the issues. Recently I had a polar pop coupon not want to come off, but the cashier tried it again and again and on the 3rd try it did work. Now when I go to that store they do the coupons one at a time and my mom and I have not had any issues since.
There are all kinds of serious legality issues with rigging a contest that promoters wouldn't dare go anywhere near. Lawyers draw up these contests. I highly doubt they would be conspiring to make every 7th coupon a dud so people are forced to buy their $2 snacks.

Plus this doesn't explain multiple prizes not redeeming over multiple contests running over multiple months. A buggy coupon generator wouldn't take months to fix. No response from Circle K and no response to the BBB complaint.
If the contest was legit they would have back up measures for when a coupon doesn't redeem. If the cashier sees you activate it and the timer is counting down they should be able to put in a code to give you the item. Instead they give you the finger,
