No, you can't. Bluetooth is there only for Google Home to catch it up and set up.

Once you set up the speaker through the Google Home app, you can activate bluetooth by saying 'Hey Google, please connect Bluetooth' or something similar. Once activated, you can turn off the mic if you prefer.

My question as well. I have an aversion to EVEN MORE apps for 1 or 2 devices. I guess setup in the app would be OK if I could then uninstall the app :)

I used the Geeni app that I used with the Merkury products to set up the light bulb (Lenovo states to use the Lenovo Pro Link app). I'm guessing othe apps would work with set up. To activate the set up, turn the light on, off, on, off, on. The light should start blinking and now use the app to add the light bulb. Once set up, link the app with Google Home if you prefer. You can control the devices with either app. You can delete the app if you want, if the devices are showing up in the Google Home app.

It can be, but it's not MADE to be and it's NOT waterproof. Don't expect it to last long in a moist environment. I tried putting one in my side porch light that is not protected from rain, and it failed as soon as we got a very rainy day. On the other hand, the one I put in the fixture on my front porch that is also outdoors but is protected from rain has been working fine for well over a year now.

Maybe yours is defective, or it's in a dead zone for your wifi? I've had a couple of these for over a year now and I can't remember either one disconnecting even once.
I have this clock and I really want to like it. But it constantly disconnects to wifi. It's super annoying to have to unplug and reconnect it every time.

In my Walmart, it is most definitely sold as one package unit, all shrink wrapped together.

Does this clock freeze up all the time? Have 2 10" lenovo smart displays and they both freeze multiple times daily. Looking online it's a very common issue

I like clock, good sharp display from across the room with temp too. I turned off the mic on back but I haven't had any problems with it. Speaker is actually pretty decent for its size.

Perhaps it is defective. Even if beside the router, it still disconnects constantly. Glad yours have no issue.

Mine disconnects randomly a few times a year. But I've been very happy with it otherwise. Great simple display for a bedroom where you just want time and weather visible.
