My interesting observation: Even when I use such promo for Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub etc, total comes out to be almost same as without codes!!!
Anyone else has noticed that?

Look for stores that offer in store prices, sales in regular stores or wholesale clubs. Some MasterCard World Elite cards have 2 months of intstacart express. Combine with this offer and get discounted food without leaving home. Also if you do not use this service or others regularly they will bombard you with discounts. I use it like few times a year when they have coupon and free delivery. Worth it!

Does the discount reflect after placing your order? the promo code worked and it's in my account but the discount is not reflecting during the checkout process.

Only for some stores and they tell you which ones in the app . And sometimes the difference is negligible. For example, the prices for Instacart Aldi are maybe 5% higher than my local store. It's a premium service but worth it for the amount of time it saves, IMO.
