No cc information is taken, no auto-renew. You complete tasks on their site to earn pts and redeem for subscriptions. It doesn't take long...but some folks don't want to deal with it.
Some freebie sites for magazines can be hit or miss. I've been using RecycleBank for 10 years, and I've received every magazine I've ordered.

Whether you use DM or RecycleBank, you can extend a current subscription. If you do, be sure to use the EXACT same name/addy information that is on your current mailing label. Once logged into your account at the magazine specific website (see link above), you can send a message to customer service. You provide the account numbers off the magazine labels, and ask that the subscription accounts be merged.
