I got a cancellation email, then I got another email saying that they've shipped my item, but they charged me full price!!!
I wont say anything until I receive the item, then I'll dispute the charge with the credit card company. So free item, thanks costa.
I got a shipping notice and invoice for $12.13, $10 more than the purchase confirmation of $2.13. However, when I checked my credit card transactions online, the price they charged is in fact $2.13. Very weird. Costa was sold to Luxottica, so they are just part of the giant crappy overpriced sunglasses (semi)monopoly now.

I'm not sure about that. But I can tell you that since I received my hat it's been my goto. This isn't a plug as you can check my history but I will say I'd buy from them in the future... It is a great hat and I'm super happy I got it for $5.
I'd be ok if it was a lure by them to get ppl to check them out and even get ppl (who didn't opt out) on their email sales distro cause it was a legit slickdeal in my opinion.
My order was canceled, and later I got a survey email to provide feedback about my order. (Um, I don't think they really want me to answer that...)
All no big deal, but what's bugging me is I keep getting Costa emails. I've unsubscribed at least twice. Can't remember if there was an opt-out option during purchase; if there was, I am certain I would have opted out.
These kinds of things lead me not to trust a brand. Either Costa is being intentionally shady, or their systems aren't good enough to process my opt-outs. Neither possibility inspires confidence.
