The one at Costco has the same display as this model, but uses the old model architecture. Basically, it's narrower and has greater depth. This Ninja, since it's wider, you can fit more stuff on it like steaks. It also has a broil mode. Some things seem to brown / get more crispy on the older model and it's a little bit easier to clear. I've had both models and overall, I like this one the best just because there's more room, at least width wise. There are lot of video reviews on Youtube comparing the two units so you can see for yourself which you like better. Just search, "Ninja Foodi Grill vs XL"

There are so many Ninja models that I'm unsure if this is the one I had in mind, but I almost think I saw this as new for about the same price from Kohl's (?) within the last year

Just did a search, and I think it was about $145 and $30 in Kohl's cash

Even this model is considered old now, so I believe the prices will start dropping. In case you didn't know, Ninja has came out with a new model of the Ninja Foodi XL Grill to replace this one. It's the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Grill & Griddle. It's the same size as this, but has heating elements on the top and bottom, has a griddle, and you can cook with the top up. https://www.ninjakitchen.com/prod...idMS-IG651 I may wait until Black Friday to get a good price on it Smilie

We have this model and got it a few months back. It's probably one of our most used appliances for cooking, outside of the stove. Main use has been dino nuggets, per our child, but it's much better than microwaving anything like that. Also use it for sausage, brats, steak. Does a solid job in my opinion. Ultimately use it to replace our old gas grill since we mainly cook for three and the gas grill never got used.

I have had this model for about a year now. It has been a complete game changer for apartment life. I would say it is single-handed the best appliance I have ever owned. I cook and reheat almost everything in this device. The thermometer is also pretty useful. It is also super easy to clean. I highly recommend this model. I use it almost every day.

Is "refurb" different than "s-&-d" (scratch & dent) from Woot?

Previous Ninja Foodi Grill Woot posts for "s-&-d" were mixed, some getting junk whereas others getting unused/undamaged.
