If you need to air up a tire in the field, but you don't(or can't) want to lug an air compressor out there. It can come in handy, but you do need an air compressor to charge it up. This is just for transport, and storage of compressed air.

For me, this is a perfect time saver for using air nailers (trim, etc) in my house instead of having to lug my large compressor out of the garage and leading a long air line through a door or window

Would I be able to get an end like a blow gun style that could be used like a can of air for dusting out computers? Is this gonna have enough pressure behind it for a computer or two? I have an air compressor that's not portable to fill it with for portability. Looks like end is only for filling tires so any recommends. At $10 this is cheaper than a 3 pack of air.

A reserve tank, 12v Viair compressor, small battery, food safe air hose, and scuba regulator gets you a hooka (no, not that kind of hookah) for diving. The tank probably doesn't need to be this big though.

I've used my DIY one quite a bit, going down up to 30 feet for 10-20 minutes on a little alarm panel battery. The weak point for me has been the duty cycle of the compressor, but starting off with a large volume of compressed air would help.

Another use case for these portable air tanks is for people who auto-x or track their vehicles. Being able to air up without having a noisy compressor is a plus in the pits.
