I returned my tiger after I got this one as it was 2.5x the price of this one. The max I have made is 4 cups of rice yet and it's been perfect every time.

Worth the price, I highly recommend, specially for rice and Mexican style beans "frijoles de la olla" worth every penny, it will pay for it self in a couple of months with utily bill savings.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but is this that much different from a 3qt Instant Pot?
Just asking because I have one and have limited counter/storage space in my kitchen.

3 quarts is smaller than 20 cups but if you have an instant pot then you should be able to cook rice and steam on it as well. All you need is a steamer insert. Or a big mesh strainer.

Not a great buy quality wise, it lasted one year for me, but I bought these
For $10 each from Best Buy a while ago....

For $25 , not terrible, but just know this this isn't the best quality.

Taking a chance on this. Reviews look great on Best Buy site. Insignia is Best Buy's store brand. My Tiger rice cooker lasted 12 years but recently is acting up so just in time for a replacement. The 20 cups sounds like a lot for 2 people. I sure hope it's not big and takes up a lot of counter space.
