Isn't it pretty much a wash when considering the value of the chicken and cupcakes that're free with this deal? Plus people in the other thread are complaining about not receiving the gift card and having to follow up with Sam's.

UPDATE: Evidently I created a "guest account" of some kind at Sam's Club years ago, so I wasn't able to use this promo with my standard email address and had to create a new account with an alt email address (same mailing address and phone number though). Also, typical of Walmart's sub-par web interface, I got a janky error message when redeeming the code. But my account was created none-the-less. Now to see about my free chicken and cupcakes!
