I have been eating these after every hour-long strength training workout, and it has been working out great to get me through to dinner. These bars are NOT your typical protein bar. These are NOT meant to be a little afternoon snack. I would only recommend these for those who do intense workouts, and want something that is very portable and is not your typical protein shake. It is why MetRX markets these bars to highly athletic people, particularly those who do intense strength training. People always freak out about the sugar, but glucose is actually great for quickly restoring the depleted energy reserves in your muscles.
28 grams of sugar!? 😬
Candy bar with protein, is the best way to put it.

It's a meal replacement bar so the calories and sugar are high, not ideal but I can see why. The bigger issue is that the ingredients are trash.

I'd recommend Pro Bar over these. Much cleaner bar for meal replacement

And 410 calories. Ouch. Even for a meal replacement that's kinda high.

Do you only eat plain salads with no dressing...?

Is it though?

I haven't eaten these in years; but IIRC they are much larger than a normal "protein bar" and truly are meant to be a meal replacement.

410 calories x 3 = 1,230 calories. That's not exactly a lot for daily intake if someone did substitute this for one of their core meals.

FYI, Vanilla Caramel Churro flavor priced slightly higher (but still lower than most flavors).

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer is on this health kick, and only eats food in bar form. Google: Homer + 5 lbs. of spaghetti…

Given the crappy ingredient profile, weird that these are a deal at about $1.50 apiece.
