$0 delivery fee. But what they don't make clear is all the other charges they add on the last screen before you order. They also don't tell you that the "menu" prices you pay for food are almost always higher than the restaurant charges, so that's another hidden charge.

Speaking as someone who previously worked at a restaurant operating these tables, this is b/c delivery services will take a % of the order so restaurants have to add a few dollars on every menu item to compensate. The prices are set by the restaurant themselves usually. We also had no idea what the total charges were to the customers (delivery fees, local taxes), we just set prices to offset the losses for using the app.
Rarely use this, but nice to have for the couple occasions that I will over the next 6 months. Combining this with discounted gift cards that sometimes are available and the occasional coupons they send out, and this should be a pretty decent deal. Thanks OP!

Where are people seeing the offer? I have a Hulu No Ads plan and didn't see it going to the Account page. Is there an "offers" section I'm missing? Or did it come up as a notification?
Oh, if you all are not tipping your drivers, please do so. I was in between jobs for the first time in 25 years and started doing Uber eats to help make ends meet. I can't tell you how many times I had to deliver a Starbucks coffee to some apartment that took a total of 30 minutes and no tip. (I live in and delivered in a highly populated suburban area) I quit accepting Starbucks and McDonald's orders because of that. Yeah, the pay from Uber is pretty low, as 75% of what you make is based on tips. Uber pays based on pickup/delivery and distance. It's not much, so that 30 minute pickup and delivery normally only got me $3. Sure Uber could pay more, but a basic tip makes all the difference. I haven't done it in a while so hopefully things have changed. I will say once Uber adjusted the app to have tips be easier to offer, that changed drastically.
Only time I order through UberEats delivery is when UberEats provides the discount - so that I can tip (minimum $5 or 15% - whichever is greater) the driver without feeling like I'm getting ripped off. I don't really use it often though. Feel like UberEats and DoorDash services are designed to hit the Goldilocks point to create losers all around - restaurants make less money, drivers somehow lose out, and Uber/DoorDash are losing money like it's the dot com bubble again!
IMO Eats Pass is only worth it when it's free but not worth the $10/month price.
You only get like $1 to $2 off per order.
Once in a while though Uber does give Pass Member specific discounts.
There is no guarantee how often they would give those offers.
For people ordering everyday, the savings add up. In my area, most restaurants are free delivery, but another benefit comes from ordering from farther restaurants which are not.
