I really liked the 530cfm ego blower much more than this one. It had better balance and lasted longer per charge.

I have ended up (from deals) with both an 80 V Greenworks and a 56V Ego. Both are good. There are different Greenworks through the years; this one might be a newer model than what I have. I'd say either is fine and it really depends on what battery system you might already have. Getting 2 batteries is a nice bonus, especially at this price.

Earlier this year there was a promo deal for just the batteries, and I think 2 of these batteries were around $180 and 2 of the 4-AH were around $280 but there was a promo discount for a while that made it lower. I also have their biggest 80V Mower that I bought tool-only, so I used my 2AH battery in the mower and it worked fine. It might be enough depending on how much mowing you have, or how often you have to make a beer/hydration break (health note: beer is the same as hydration). The 4AH is definitely better for something like a mower. But it's larger and heavier -- I wouldn't even recommend that for this blower, so getting 2x2AH is perfect.

Yeah it was 2 of the 2ah 80v batteries for $150. I bought a set, which brings my collection of 80v batteries to 5 now, more than I ever need.
I have the older blower and love it so I would say this one is probably great as well. The Ego and Greenworks blowers are the top blowers as far as I can tell.

It's $229 ($279-50) on the link. Does the price vary by store?

Wow great find. Might get this and just use my Ego battery for trimmer work (1 battery not enough for trimmer + blower work I need to do).

Green works are built pretty chintzy. Switched my dad over to Ryobi 40V/18V for his OPE stuff and its built significantly better. 0 Glass fiber reinforced plastics, cheap switches, likely cheapo motors as well. He had a pretty bad experience with this other tools, and his original blower was whiny and weak. Theres really no reason you need 80V for a blower, V doesn't = power.

CFM moves the leaves and at 730 this one is pro-gas power. Have 5 years worth of 80V tools and added this at the beginning of summer. Was a great addition. The leaves are about to fall and I am ready. This thing is a beast and I finally sold my gas backpack with no regrets.

For those of you who already have the batteries, the blower has a $20 off coupon right now at Amazon making it $149.
