$30 more than you can get a V7 Refub Dayson that's actually new, not sure about Shark's refub are they "refurb" by third party who just fix something to make it work? but still look like trash or are they like Dyson where they basically replace with new parts and just use the same motor? Two of my Dyson Refurb didn't have any speck of dirt anywhere; filter, canister, hose, etc.

Where would you get a refurb v7 for $130?

Now that I have received this vacuum and tested it out, this vacuum was not made with hardwood flooring in mind. I live in an apartment and have vinyl fake wood flooring and going against the "grain" of the "wood" with the floor attachment makes a loud sound because of the two mini wheels towards the front of the attachment. The two big wheels are completely fine, but that means nothing because of the two hard plastic wheels. It vibrates the floor and I feel terrible for my downstairs neighbors. I can't imagine it on real wood with real grains.

HOWEVER, the vacuum is great. It has great suction, my floors feel super clean especially with that brush roll picking up micro dust. I had a Shark Navigator before and this Shark Apex definitely picks up more dust and more fine dust. I dragged my hands across the floor and got nothing but brand new floor feel. But the fine dust point brings me to my next point. Because of the fine dust, not having a HEPA filter worries me with how much is just floating out and about in my room.

Long story short, this is awesome bang for your buck, outperforms Shark Navigators on hardwood, vinyl wood, and bare surfaces but it is very loud on hardwood and vinyl wood if you go against the grains. I'd recommend this vacuum for bare floors like polished concrete floors and flat surfaces with no texture on them whatsoever.
Thanks for the review. I'm gonna order one. I have the same exact flooring. I have i still keep finding micro ducts from the renovation no matter how many times i clean.

Purchased one last week. So far, so good. Aside from the brown box, it appeared brand new. I didn't realize how narrow the main vacuum head was compared to our old vacuum, but it hasn't been an issue. It's also been great for above-floor cleaning, the stairs, and the car.

Question: do we need to do anything to register the warranty?

It looks like ours arrived defective and it main brush just doesn't roll unless if we push the clear plastic down. Contacting them now to see what they can do about it :/
