No another reason to get the A80j over this. Also picture quality and brightness are better on the Sony
10-18-2021 at 02:06 PM
Nope no c1 models have it
10-23-2021 at 09:40 PM
Only LG G1 series have ATSC 3.0. C1 series doesn't have it from what I have seen.

It does not cover burn-in sadly. The only one I've noticed that covers burn in is buydig's recent deals. https://slickdeals.net/f/15329014-lg-oled-4k-tv-s-w-4-year-accidental-warranty-w-burn-in-coverage-55-oled55c1pub-140-visa-gc-1497-48-w-120-visa-gc-1297-less-w-sd-cashback-at-buydig

It does not cover burn in. I have two LG OLED tv’s and in my experience the panel goes out before any burn in issues occur (warranty does cover that). I have not had any burn issues in the three years I have had both.
10-29-2021 at 01:25 AM
Unless you have a screen with static elements on it playing for thousands of hours this should not occur. But to answer your question, no burn-in is not covered by the warranty

As for OLED. Yes. But when you look more into it, theres Sony A80J and A90J Vs LG C1 and G1 etc…
I’m going with c1 77” or 83”. I think.
10-23-2021 at 06:52 AM
The price difference between the 77 and 83 is crazy. The TV isn't really much bigger.
11-01-2021 at 07:51 PM
It depends on your use for it. OLED tech is good for TV/media/games, but not the best to use as a computer monitor, it very brightly lit rooms, or with a lot of static images (like a menu bar for the computer, or a game hug, or the logo/ticker for a news network)

It looks like the sale is available now online at costco for members

Costco will, and has automatically done so for me, send a gift card for the amount of the price reduction of items that go on sale within 30 days of the purchase.

I have a similar issue with the Honda coupe I have, I use Lowes truck rental for big purchases, they only charge 20 bucks for 90 minutes with unlimited miles. Check your local Lowes to see if they have that service and get a hand truck for those steps.
I've been gaming with the XBox Series X on my LG65C7, and I have zero burn-in issues. I've been playing all sorts of Game Pass games on it, threw everything at it, and still zero burn-in issues. There are some image retention when I'm reading and researching on to where to go next in a game. But those only last for 10-15 seconds after being static for a few minutes.
Costco is great with price adjustments. I bought one from them and a few months later it went on sale there. I went in and they price adjusted to a gift card, no problem at all.

Nice. How is it for other tasks? I think windows can snap to the corners or sides to organize the screen.

Thanks! How is their shipping service? I wonder if they will help me bring it to 3rd floor apartment that does not have an elevator? Otherwise think the 55" will fit in a 2016 Camry?

Probably not, i put a 55 into a 2016 Prius and it barely fit, and prius has a larger opening if am not mistaken

I've ordered the 77 from buydig a week ago and they've still not sent it. They say they don't have it in stock, but their website has no mention of that.

The 65 is same as the current price. Looks like it's not getting any cheaper.
