You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Ordered 13 on 11/12. Picked up 11/13. Submitted unlock request on FB Messenger on 11/15. Received a follow up on 11/17 that they will update over the weekend. Today morning, phone showed "No SIM restrictions" and got a follow up / confirmation from T-Mo on Messenger that the phone is unlocked. This is the quickest pain free upgrade for a fully owned / unlocked iPhone I have seen so far.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201296 - There is only one model for the US, which I have - A2482. I am not sure what you mean by GSM / CDMA as it is all LTE / 5G.

With the last few iPhone releases there is no difference in hardware between the carriers for iPhones. They are all the exact same phone. The ONLY difference is the SIM card they give with it.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone X was the last year where there were different modems in different models.

Tmobile on its own never gives one time credit. The $800 for xs you are referring to is a 24 or a 30 month bill credit. This one time credit system runs in best buy only and previously through costco, rest it is never a one time credit.

This GSM/CDMA options has been dissolved by apple way back, now all the iphones comes with one model which apple used to sell at stores. Even it comes with US Flex policy, by activating on tonwhichever carrier sim its inserted to.

They accept many models but you will not find trade in additional promo value for non apple phones and yes you can check that after u choose a phone and then select upgrade/add a line which takes you right to the trade in page.
