Costco T-Mobile generally gives back tradein value back in visa/master gift card after a month or two. So it is easy for people who want pay upfront rather than waiting for credits over 2 years.
Get the Google Pixel 6 FREE or up to $900 off the Google Pixel 6 Pro via 24 monthly bill credits when you're on a Magenta® MAX plan and trade in an eligible device.

So I also got that message... and I was ordering a white one.

I basically did the order again and it went through. You can also try to do it with a different web browser or incongnito in Chrome.

I also called customer service and asked them to "hold my hand" while I place the order over the internet... that way if you really can't do it, they would do it for you and most likely wave the $30.00 fee.

GOOD LUCK.

I am grandfathered into the 55+ plan (main line is in my mother-in-laws name) and pay $60.00 for unlimited everything BUT only have hotspot on 3G speeds... I think there is software that can fix this.
Thanks for the heads up. I ended up going through tforce over Twitter got the shipping and support fee waived worked out in the end.

Do they actually honor the bill credits now? I remember I had to fight for it years ago and decided to never upgrade that way.
Yes, they honor it. BUT just make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's.

I have 5 HOROR stories with T-Mobile, two of them are when I purchased a new phone with a promo... one of them was for my Oneplus 6, another was for the Samsung S20 FE, I had a defective sim card that did not attach to their "partnership" towers (god knows how long I suffered) and I was unable to make long distance calls in Canada and could not connect to 611 until I was back in the US... called them up and they told me something was not activated correctly on their end. And finally, when I went to purchase the OnePlus 6, I went to a store with my driver license and I had my passport and credit cards ect... and they refused to sell me a phone saying that they do not sell phones to people with out of state driver licenses... I was on a business trip and it was the last day to trade in "any" OnePlus phone for the OnePlus 6... called customer service, they even spoke to the store... and they just ordered the phone for me AND that is when the nightmare really happened.

If you can DO NOT order the phone through customer service and use the website.

My issue is, when everything works T-Mobile is amazing and I can't find my plan for the price I pay anywhere (need a phone that I can use in Canada).

Re do it...

You must have put in the wrong specs when they asked you questions about cracked screen, water damage and power on.

When I did my order I made the mistake and I was offered $40.00... did it again and I got my $450

I usually don't like doing bill credit promos but there have been 2 times where my bill credits didn't get added. The first time was the iPhone SE 2020 promo. They give me my trade in credit but didn't apply the bill credits I called them up and they just paid off the phone in full. Took 2 phone calls. The second time was the 2020 iphone 11 promo bill credits didn't get started called them up 4 months later and they escalated and refunded me 4 months worth of credits while the promo got reinstated. Took one phone call.

They have there issues but in my experience it wasn't that bad getting them fixed.

Hmm, tried several times and 2 different phones since yesterday. On Magenta 1.0 and upgrading phone. Does this need MAX and add a line? I'm missing something here

That's what I got too. I believe they will give you one time bill credit of 9 dollars and then the 291 over 24 months.

edit. I traded in a a71 5g for 450. breakdown is 75 one time statement credit 375 over 24months

pixel 3xl for 300 breakdown 9 one time statement credit 291 over 24 months.

this is my understanding of the promo any one else can confirm?

What am I doing wrong? Trying to trade iPhone 6s online. Tried both options to pay in full/ finance from T-MOBILE on simple choice plan.
It's not giving 300 credit. It's showing $0 and monthly due 25.

Can I use this deal to join to an existing group?
If yes, how does the trade in credit applies (over the 24 months period)? Is it just for my new line, OR to entire group's bill?
Thanks.

Purchased Pixel6Pro and it showed a 899.99 trade in value for my iPhoneX. (attached)

However, on my purchase receipt email, it says "one-time bill credit of $122.00". (attached)

Does it show up the same way for everyone else? Or did some operational error happen as I was purchasing this?
It's exactly that. You get one time payment of $122 and the rest of the value is paid back in bill credit per month. Remember, thi whole point of these bill credit is to lock ppl into 2 years contract.

Does anyone know T-Mobile would have Pixel 6 256G in stock anytime soon?

I hear this from a lot of people. It just confuses me.

You have two choices

1) You can pay a few hundred dollars more for the phone at MSRP with free Pixel Buds.
2) You can pay the MSRP and get $450 ($900 for Magenta Max) in credits over 2 years.

Option 2 is a lot cheaper.

To get Option #2, do the deal with the installment plan. Then pay off the plan, in full, as soon as it shows in your account. Just sign in, pay it off, done.

You still get the monthly credits as long as you stay with T-Mobile. If you stick around 2 years, you get the full $450. If you don't, you get less. If you stay with T-Mobile long enough to get more credits than the cost of the free Pixel Buds (assuming you wanted them) you're ahead. If you don't want the Pixel Buds (I don't) then your ahead the first month you get them.

I "Don't Do Contracts" and "I don't borrow money." are both ways of saying, "I can't do basic math and I don't understand how deals work." It's not a smart look. Just buy the phone and pay it off in full after the monthly account credits kick in.
Some just prefer not to be in contracts and receive unlocked phones.
