Here are the "Terms and Conditions" that I had to constantly point to when dealing with a Best Buy that was a Samsung authorized repair center: https://www.samsung.com/us/suppor...sung-week/

New screens, baby, here I come!
Has anyone watched the vids of ppl replacing just the glass on like S9s? The kits only cost ~$30, but I just wonder if it's basically a scam and you'll ruin your phone. I obviously don't have the $$$ equipment pros use, but I have small tools and a heat gun.
I wish samsung could just send me the whole glass/lcd for like $50 and I could replace it myself and send them my old one back.

Samsung's $99.99 Smartphone Repair Promotion (the "Promotion") will provide customers one (1) $99.99 cracked screen repair for a Galaxy S series device that is Galaxy S8 model year or newer, or a Galaxy Note series device that is Galaxy Note8 model year or newer (excludes Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold3, all A & J models, and all Galaxy S and Galaxy Note models prior to S8).

If anyone is curious, they did not require proof of purchase because the date of manufacture was less than 1 year from the service
When I cracked my screen recently I looked into being able to replace the glass myself. The vids of ppl doing it themselves make it look possible, but I have a feeling it's a scam.
For bestbuys or samsung themselves to repair these "quickly", they'd have to just have a whole screen ready to swap in. They would mess with removing the glass and cleaning all the glue off the LCD.
