For those who may ask, these are not rated Ultra High Speed. So not good for 4K @ 120 fps gaming (I.e Xbox Series X/PS5).

Ah yes, Monster: the king of the most absurd cable prices you've ever seen.

I'm still traumatized by even the mere mention of "Monster Cable." 10 years ago you could not walk into a Best Buy without being physically assaulted by a blue shirt for not buying one regardless of what you were doing or buying. I mean, without that $99 "24K gold plated" coax cable you risked burning down your house with the 20 oz sola you just bought. Oh, and if you didn't buy a $79 aux cord....it is because you hated your kids.

All jokes aside I had one idiot tell me a TV's warranty could be voided if I did not buy one. Uhhh...no.

Good deal. Keep in mind bandwidth limited to 21Gbps so no 120Hz

Not really correct. I tried an old 4k cable and it was able to do 30hz only at 4k. No HDR. Try to use an old 1.4 cable at do 4k 60hz with HDR and it wont let you.
I did and they did, so ymmv I guess.

Cheaper and high quality than Onn which is true trash so I will take it. Shockingly, Onn is a best seller on Walmart.com. How dumb are consumers

I picked up several last summer from Wal-mart. For the LED versions, I bought the red, blue, and green for $6 each - simply can't find the purple one anywhere. Actually quite convenient because I have a tv in an impromptu set-up in my office room and always disconnecting/connecting different stuff to it - the glowing LED's makes it super easy to locate the plugs under dim lighting - the colored LED is a bonus so you can discern which device is going into which input. Quality is just as good as some of my ancient Monster Cables that I paid full-price for back in the hey-days of Monster Cable. Also picked up some Monster Cable 15' 8K HDMI cables for ~$10.

Monster has made good profit ripping folks off with their marked up prices over the last couple of decades. I still remember working at Circuit city and getting monster accessories at employee cost price. As far as I can remember Monster was the only brand where I would save almost 80-85% over retail.

We can all remember going to Best Buy or Circuit City in the past to buy something, and the salesman trying to foist a $35-$40 monster cable on us with our purchase.

Had a bunch at my store for 2.50. Picked up a couple. Seems decent for 2.50. No 4k 120hz but it will be good for everything other than my ps5

I only have an HDMI 2.0 TCL television but I grabbed a couple of these when they were at Ollie's for $5 or so for my home consoles.

The LEDs are nice because I'm constantly switching what console I'm capturing video from on plugged into my PC.

One store in Savannah has them for $1.50. I just picked up two red and two blue.

I have to ask what the marketing tactic is for these to be so astronomically priced? I assume there are cables in the hundreds of dollars that say they give a superior picture (and maybe they do, however I'm not sure I would really be able to tell) but for cables that are 10x to 100x the competition, I can't imagine how they market them. Other than to folks like Kanye who have more money than they know what to do with and have to have "the best" (meaning most expensive).
They probably sell to the government to match those $1000 toilet seats. Smilie

I've been seeing some Monster HDMI cables with clearance stickers at the Walmart next to my work, but didn't bother paying attention to them since I figured they were probably still expensive and l didn't need any. But maybe I should take a closer look, especially after I remembered that I've given a few out and my son is always losing them somehow when he takes one to the grandparents to use for his PlayStation. Maybe I'll even use them to redo my living room setup, which I've been meaning to do.
