To put in the 31 drills you've accumulated during your time on slickdeals!

Bits strip, get lost, multiple drivers, etc. I'm just happy to see a deal that isn't 40 PH and a handful of the other guys. Torx all day unless I'm using pocket screws, then it's Robertson (square) drive.

FYI this is similar to a previous front page deal from the previous quarter. Same price, but the current set has more pieces (120 vs 99).

Previous Shockwave front page deal

Also, Project Farm in his comparison of Phillips and Torx bits from various manufacturers found very good results for the Shockwave bits.

Those 2 are the most used in framing or decking (metal/wood) and you will strip them and lose them a lot. I buy them by packs just by themselves.

Why do I need eleven Philips, ten T-25, and ten square drive bits?

If you are the kind of person who loses commonly used bits a lot. That's the only reason I can think of.

Though you would likely be a carpenter if you're talking he's head and square bits.

These are great. If you don't have a set get this. Won't need a bit for years if your diy. If you got the earlier deals this quarter you won't need this. Plenty of repeats.

For torx bits you're better off buying individually such as the ones linked in this post and it's comments:

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/15361597

I bought a set similar to the one in this post before and it's got way too many Phillips and flathead bits, and only one or two of each torx size.

Have you have ever stripped a screw. It may have been because a rounded bit. Throw away bits with rounded edges.
