A 55" yes, I misread the size of this so that's my fault!
How does this tv compare to the TCL 55s21 posted below?
https://js2.slickdeals.
I bought a TCL at 7 PM EST lastnight. I think that the TCL is a little better on build and components, overall performance and picture. What does anyone think that's compared both?
I have to say that I'm honestly pleasantly surprised with how great the picture is. I can tell, though, that it is only 60 hertz refresh rate. it's for the living room and the kids watching TV and playing video games so it'll work great.
My first Roku tv. I'm impressed!
From Allstate 3 Year TV Protection Plan details:
"3. COVERAGES AND TERMS:
This Protection Plan will cover a mechanical or electrical failure of the Product(s) during normal usage for the Term of this Protection Plan. This Protection Plan is inclusive of any manufacturer's warranty that may exist during the Coverage Term. It does not replace the manufacturer's warranty, but provides certain additional benefits during the term of the manufacturer's warranty. Replacement parts will be new, rebuilt or non-original manufacturer's parts that perform to the factory specifications at Our sole option."
Also good thing you pointed out the 2yr manufacturer's warrant, I'd thought it was only 1 based on Target's page's Details tab:
"Warranty: 1 Year Limited Warranty. To obtain a copy of the manufacturer's or supplier's warranty for this item prior to purchasing the item, please call Target Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869"
Elements quick start guide [elementelectronics.com] does point out 2yr with registration:
"*1 year manufacturer warranty with purchase or 2 year warranty with product registration within 90 days of purchase"
Sooo would it be a good idea to buy the protection still ?
Could you buy it later, and have the coverage date start say 6mo or 1yr later ?

does that mean the stand is 57 inches wide? I think my location for a tv is a more like 54 inches.

The "could you buy it later" is an interesting question. More thoughts to ponder!
if not I guess it's possible to do a return and rebuy with said credit card at pick up
