I watched some reviews for QC45, and I discovered that the sound signature is pretty much the same but the new model may feel inferior than this model.
The plus for QC45 is that they hold more battery and can be charged by USB C.
I'm still using my QC35 (V1) and I enjoy a lot of music and movies with them. It is still a great device. Not to mention that it has one of the best ANC still (slightly behind Sony).

Do you know if you can go to the store without being a member
You have to show ID to get on a military base and you usually have to be escorted by a member. My mom took my brother and I to Andrews AFB on Sunday and he picked up the Bose QC 35II. She had to do the transaction and show military ID.
