Costco has the same tv for same price but it includes a 5 year warranty. Better deal if you have Costco membership.
Burn in is real. I will never buy another display that can be destroyed because of a cnn or foxnews logo.
Mini LED QLEd will be my next TV line. I had an OLED and rocket league destroyed the image in less than 400 hours. https://m.imgur.com/a/BM1I65y

Your credit card may offer an additional two year warranty, but I get what you're saying.

See it's not an actual OLED, but costs just as much as LG C1 65 OLED, any good reason to go with this one over LG?

OLEDs have the risk of burn in.

Also, folks would pick the QLED over OLED in places where it's too bright - the QLED can get much brighter

"If we cannot repair your TV, we will provide you with a check for the current market value of your TV."

I'd be curious how they would calculate this, that said it's basically the going sale price with free coverage thrown in so even if they lowball you it's better than nothing I suppose.

Current market value of a year old TV is about $100.

OLED don't get bright enough for a bright room. Also LG OLED has glossy screen which can be annoying with reflections. Burn is a concern for OLED if you watch A LOT of trash cable news like Fox, CNN, MSNBC or anything with static images. Emphasis on a lot.

As others have said burn in with OLED, is more than a passing concern, not a major concern, but definitely something always running through my head. You wouldn't want to constantly watch something like cnn or sports with a score in the same place. Beyond the obvious burn in that can happen there is also just the fact that you are continually wearing out the pixels when you watch it. I bought a 65" LG OLED a few years ago and I'm too nervous to play any games on it, and really limit how much I use it period. So personally I'm getting an LCD and have bought the u8g but think I might get this instead. U8G does look pretty nice, but I worry about he reliability of the Hisense down the road.
