I can't speak to this specific machine, but I have been using a De'Longhi ESAM5500 for the last 7+ years pulling 3-4 shots everyday with no issues or repairs needed so far.

From a cleaning perspective, I wash all the washable parts in the dishwasher every 2 weeks and clean/vacuum the inside of the machine (coffee grounds scattered inside).
Once a month, I take the brew unit apart and clean all the pieces manually and check/regrease the o-rings which takes about 30 minutes to do.
The o-rings do need to be replaced periodically - I replace mine when they start to feel hard or too much coffee grit gets stuck on them and won't come off with washing (about every 6 months).

I only make lattes (I froth the milk using a handheld wand - the milk jug is too much hassle) and the espresso shot quality is way better than Starbucks in my opinion.
The quality at Starbucks depends on the barista behind the counter and I've had too many bad drinks to the point that I refuse to go to Starbucks anymore and seek out small coffee shops when I'm travelling where the quality is much much better.
Anyway, hope this helps .

Forgot to add - the built-in grinder on my machine is very picky about the coffee beans.
If the beans are oily, then the grinder is completely lost as to what it should do it seems - most of the times it will only grind for a couple seconds and all you get is a watery mess, other times, it grinds too much and nothing comes out of the spout.
I've found that Medium to Medium-dark beans work the best (Starbucks coffee beans don't work for me at all) - Don Pablo (available at Costco) works great and consistently each time. Definitely no dark roasts (French or Italian).
We bought this machine last year from Sam's Club and we've been really happy with it. Once you dial in the bean strength and size, it's pretty foolproof. We use it mostly for Americanos, essentially a double shot of espresso with hot water. You will probably want to turn up the temperature which is in the manual and a matter of push a button sequence. Maintenance and cleaning is also straightforward. The only negative is you have to keep an eye on beans. If they are low, it won't stop you and will make a weak cup with too little coffee. That said, it's a very minor thing to load it twice a week or so.

The milk frother is separate but on unit and works well. After you make the coffee, you wait a few minutes for the heater block to come to temp and then you froth yourself with the wand and a pitcher (which takes a bit of time to learn and low fat milk works better). All in all, it's a really good machine. I hope this helps those on the fence.

We have a Delonghi Dinamica. Overall it's been great to use. No complaints. Happy with how easy it is to use. I imagine the Magnifica is similar.

We did upgrade to the Jura Ena 8 which is a step up for more options, etc.

Hah, I just got a ESAM5600 For free and cleaned the entire machine and rebuilt the main infuser unit with new o-rings, grease, and cleaned filter. What other o-rings do you look at?

We just got a 4300 about 15 days ago, coming from a Breville 878, yeap probably the coffee not as good but I do like that the only thing we have to do is put the milk and press a button then we can just drink the coffee. Without all the cleaning in between and after we all got coffee. The other thing I really like is that you can save 3 profiles so I don't have to grind/weight/make 3 different cups. Unfortunately I am the only one that know how to use the Breville so lots of work for me in the morning. Superautomactic definitely great for lazy people.
How about the temp? I've got this Delonghi but the drinks are just not hot enough for me. Looking for something that produces piping hot drinks

I would say the milk is actually really hot for my liking, maybe a bit too much that I have to wait a bit to drink. But in general it's decent.

Take a look at Lavazza beans that are often on sale. They are generally dry and we've never had a problem. If you're after an espresso flavor, then Gran Crema, Super Crema, or Crema e Aroma are good choices. I get the latter (not latté) from Italy Best Coffee via Amazon around $25-26 for 2x2.2lbs bags.
Best advice! These are the only beans I've used and never had a problem with the ceramic grinders on the super automatics.
