I was looking at the Flexispot deals posted here but hesitated to pull the trigger because of negative reviews with longevity, reliability of the motor, and poor customer support. Flexispot is a known brand and I am currently using their manual conversion top which I've had zero issues. If a known brand like Flexispot has quality and customer service issues, it makes me wary of anything from a no-name brand on Amazon.

Veri desks seem to have better reviews but much much more expensive. My other option is getting a frame and top from Monoprice. If anyone has any experience with either Veri or Monoprice please let me know.

I got this a couple weeks ago. Objectively, it's fine. For the price, pretty decent but just know there are concessions made to get it to the sub $200 mark.

Pros:
+Motor & controls are smooth, fairly quiet, and responsive
+Stability is better than a lot of other desks at this or slightly higher prince points. For example, IKEA's base has terrible stability and is more expensive
+A handful of accessories are included that a lot of other shops will nickel and dime you for

Cons:
-Desktop quality is similar to some of the lower end Ikea stuff. It's mildly scratch resistant at best, and easy to scuff (mine came with a minor chip, likely a result from shipping). Plus, like most other desks in this prince range, it comes in two halves rather than one solid piece. Arguably at this prince point, you could just buy this for the base and then shop around for your own desktop and still come out ahead or even but that's just another inconvenience to deal with
-In general, the packaging isn't super effective in protecting it from shipping. But this also speaks to the quality of the components. In addition to the aforementioned small chip in the desktop, a piece of the wire harness had broken off, and the cover for the motor had cracked as well. None of these are deal breaking issues for me and just part of the gamble I take with cheap flat-packed, shipped furniture but it should be noted this not a premium product
-The instructions are better than I've seen from other DIY-assemble furniture manufactures, but it's still not perfect. The diagrams are helpful but there is a typo on which screws to use at one part and it was confusing to figure out what should actually be used at that step of the process

TL;DR - it's not perfect, but at the price point, it's hard to be too upset. I'm generally satisfied with it as functionally it's actually pretty decent. But they def cut corners on the quality of some of the components/accessories and packaging. Only time will tell with longevity but this is otherwise a good "starter"/budget standing desk

Thanks for the review. Questions.
* Did you try getting the broken components replaced?
* Any issues with the two piece desktop?
