Outdated technology,historical device
After owning a LIDAR vac for a couple of years, I won't settle for one of those. Mapping ability is easily worth the premium.
This one seems to be old tech that goes random path and it takes hours to clean your rooms and may still leave some areas uncleaned. Please pay more to get a smart one with mapping. I have one of these type dump robovac and don't use it anymore. The smart ones clean much faster / better

Do you think there will be better deals on roombas for black Friday? Not looking for an advanced model. Basic is fine.

I've owned 3 roombas (including the scooba) over the years and got the wyze when it came out. Wyze for the price is far better - mapping, scheduling, everything.

What do u guys think of the Eufy at Walmart for $149 compared to this?? Seems like newer tech?
I have that one and love it. The cheaper one is about the same though so I suggest you get the cheapest eufy you can find.

I'd get the 25c for $99. Nothing worth the higher price in this model. Have had several "dumb" eufy and love them but they're all pretty much the same.

I had a similar dumb model for a few years. This is probably as good as you'll get for the older tech.

I purchased the Wyze with lidar for about $215 on prime day and holy cows it's infinity better. They added multi-level mapping as promised and it's damn near perfect.

With shortages and component/shipping costs going up, no guarantee it hits that price point again in the next couple months, but if you're willing to chance it and have a bit more in your budget it's definitely worth considering.

IMO. I own a neato for more than 3 years. And worth every cent. Was under $200 at that time. Never would buy a random vaccuum. Trust me. Get a robot that is able to map your house and cover all spots like neato.
I agree. I like seeing the straight lines on my carper when neato is done vacuuming. I also have had mine for about 3 years. Had to change the battery once but it still does a great job.

I have a relatively triangular living space so my non-LiDAR 25c eufy vacuum is more than fine. Those are on sale for $99 at Walmart.

I have a self emptying shark IQ and I still have to clean out the St Bernard hair after every run. Are those better with hair?
Yes I just remove them once every 3-4 runs with my fingers. Previous old roomba needed special tools to untangle the hair. It was such a pain. And Dont know much about Shark, yours does sound like a better one.

Thanks for sharing, was about to pop on the Kohs one but this one has better reviews and will hopefully work better with my highly shedding doggos! Purchased.
Awesome happy to be of help! This is a fantastic price, you won't regret.

It was great with lab/rott hair. Empty once every two weeks. Then this guy came along and game over.

I don't understand these model numbers for all of these roomba's, the website at iRobot.com doesn't even show all these weird numbers that aren't the i3, S9, j7, etc.

Oh nevermind I didn't notice the "600 series" listed on the side of their homepage navigation.

I have an i3+ and though smarter could be nice, it's a great freaking Roomba

By "neato", did you guys mean Neabot? I am looking for a 2-in-1 robo that has mapping capability, and Neabot N1 seems to fit the bill.

Is it worth to spend more and buy one with mapping feature? Will using this take hours to vacuum a home with 2 bed rooms?

Yes, with an open Floorplan type area, this would be fine... but with multiple rooms, you definitely want mapping. The randomized ones could get stuck in one room for most of the charge cycle and entirely miss other rooms. It's certainly better than nothing, but for an extra $50-$100 you would be far better off with mapping.
