And the pads have the reservoir built in for vacuuming
The whole mop and vacuum part is misleading. If you use the spray function, you clog up the small holes used for the suction of the vacuum. So you either have to vacuum first, let the floor dry then vacuum or vacuum then mop. You can't keep switching.
There are 2 different packaging variants of this item: one with "Limited Edition Color" and a seemingly newer pack with slight differences in graphics. Only the Limited Edition one is $40. The other one showed at $78 on a price check.

Battery life is great and I find the pads on Amazon for less than a dollar each. Use maybe 1-2 pads each week- totally worth it to me!!
And I bought mine this summer at full price! Now that they are so cheap, I've gifted three to family and friends! Completely worth more than $40 in my opinion. Id snatch it up!
