Also this is actually a better deal because it comes with the battery bank.
Edit: The OP probably needs to be clearer that you're required to be a "new" customer, the coupon is required for the price, and the coupon requires you to be a "new" customer.
So if you meant "After I keep my mom on this plan for 1 year can I unlock the phone and switch to ATT". That should work!
If that's not what you meant, I don't think you want this deal for what you want.

You can use your own phone, but there's an extra step: Activate this phone with the SIM it comes with. Wait a couple of days, buy a $1 Tracfone Bring Your Own Phone SIM kit, and transfer your line to that new SIM & your unlocked phone. (Tracfone does not like it when you move one of their Verizon SIMs to a different phone, and may suspend the line.)
