Returning customers get the $3.99/mo for four months, but not the free 30 days.
It was the first episode gotta lay the ground work for the season. Original writer is behind it and Michael C Hall is on board finally after all these years.
I expect a very good season
Billions is good

The final season of Shameless was terrible, almost unwatchable. It's a shame since I felt like they remained incredibly consistent up until that point, and loved the original seasons. It may be advisable to stop watching once Emmy Rossum departs the series, although I thought the following season was still quite good. They've had amazing season finales throughout the years so the final season being as bad as it was was disappointing. That was one of the worst series finales I've ever seen.

I'm sure Showtime has more shows we're overlooking. More often than not they've had a good grip on what they were doing creatively and a lot of hits. Some misses too and they also tend to let their hits run too long but overall I'm happy I started subscribing around Dexter season 4.
I haven't watched the final season of Shameless yet. Lost some interest after Fiona left.

I did watch the first episode of Dexter: New Blood and it seems to be about the same as the original series. I guess the 2nd episode came out today so I'll water later tonight.

I'm no math major, but isn't 30 days 1 month? The deal says 30 days free, then $3.99 a month for 4 months. Bullet point 4 says after your six month promotional pricing....isn't 1 month + 4 months a total of 5 months? How did they get 6 months?

Wait am I missing something here..
When your 30-day trial ends, you will be charged $3.99 per month for the next four consecutive months.
After your six month promotional pricing period, you can continue at the standard monthly rate of $10.99 per month or cancel if desired.

So first 30 days(a month) plus 4 consecutive months = 5 months total..
How come the statement of after your six months promotion? Comes from.
Unless my maths is totally wrong or after 30 days promotion runs for 5 months not 4 months.

anything good or just wait for $1.99/month Amazon deal.
Please elaborate on the $1.99 Amazon deal you mentioned. When? Does it include or is it only for Showtime? Must you be a Prime member, etc.?

Almost all have free trials for new members so I won't list free trial. Price breaks per month change and happens so infrequently. Here is my short list. HBO Max 6month for $8 monthly and my favorite. Disney+ $1 for the 1st month. Fubo tv. ParamountPlus. Appletv+'s show Foundation is a great sci-fi show. Hulu has terrible video quality so I'm not going to look it up, but some good shows like Devs.
T-Mobile gave me a free year of Paramount+ as a consolation prize. I'd wanted a discount on/free Netflix. But I have a cheaper seniors' phone plan and didn't qualify for their Netflix deal. I haven't activated & have till 12-9-22 to activate.

Yeah the wording on OP's post makes it seems like its a 30 day trial plus 4 months of service for $3.99. But I just signed up and the email says:
Promo Applied:Enjoy SHOWTIME for just $3.99/month for 4 months.

So basically you're just getting a few dollars off each month not 4 months of service for $4. I wanted it for Dexter but I will just cancel before the trial is over.
Something's wrong. On my iPad I clicked on the link to sign up. The Showtime site came up but the page is BLANK!?!?

Amazon give promos for different streaming channels every now and then. Those deals are usually 0.99/ month or 1.99/month for a month sometimes for 3 months.
I have used those deals to finish GOT series, breaking bad and many, many such series.
Perfect deal and you don't have to subscribe for a year.
So far I have used for Starz, Showtime, AMC+, paramount+, epix , Shutter and few other channels.
Yes, I guess it's for prime members.

Anything special to watch other than Dexter, which is I am not sure good enough revival? Remember the "bullet" scene?
Limited series called American Rust is good, and 'Your honor' is INCREDIBLE

Does anyone know if this stacks with the chase/BofA offer of $5 off showtime subscription? How would that work with this since after the free trial I'll be charged $3.99( being less than $5) for the 1st month . Or it just means another month will be free ?

Is this their BF promo? Anyone know if Hulu is going to do their BF special again this year? Watched Yellowjackets free episode last night. Starring Juliette Lewis , Christina Ricci and the crazy stalker chick from 2 1/2 men. About a highschool soccer team that crashes in Canadian Rockies for 19 mos.
A Lord of the Flies survival drama/mystery w/ a some cannabilism plus a great 90's sound track, what's not to like! lol That and Dexter makes this a no-brainer. Thanks OP!

Dexter the Lumberjack. LOL. He must have finally tired of chopping trees and needed to get back to sawing up people.

At one time was once a good show, then as time went on they butchered it (pun intended). Now they decide to revive it? LOL.

Too bad not many writers, producers, or anyone in the film industry have original ideas anymore.

Not sure how that would work... Usually they list a minimum charge amount, maybe you would make a dollar on the first month! The deal on my BOA card expires today, so if you signed up as a new customer, and got the 30 day trial, the first charge would be after the promotion ended. If you are a returning customer, and they bill you the $4, it might just trigger the cash back deal.
