Picked this up the last time around and really like it. Really solid bedroom TV. On Saturday I was watching the 4K HDR stream of the Oklahoma/Baylor game on FOX and it looked really good. I know it's not a true 4K stream, but the picture quality was great. Yes it doesn't hold a candle to my LG C9, but it's also a quarter of the price. Definitely get a sound bar though.
65" 4K for $300 is a good deal no matter how you slice it, but just FYI, it does look like the model number in the BF ad is slightly different from the one for sale right now. The current TV model is E4FAB65R, while the one in the BF ad is E4FAB65R-T. I don't know anything beyond that, but this is probably a BF-specific model and not getting the $650 TV we see for sale right now.
Great price. Found the user guide and specs from Element. The user guide is over 100 pages so you should be able to find what you want to control the TV. You can use your phone instead of the remote it comes with.

Can anyone give a run-down between the differences between the 70" Onn TV at Walmart and the 65" Element at Target, other than the obvious 5" and price? Which is the better deal/TV...fully knowing neither is top of the line, but for that price range, which is better?

Purchased two last go around and one is in our living room. We really enjoy it so far and no complaints with the ROKU interface. The picture quality isn't on the same level of the Hisense it replaced (2021 58" 4K - $270), but it works very well. We coupled it with the $50 Vizio sound bar for the ultimate Slickdeal movie watching experience.

It says Target will match lower price if it sells lesser by Dec 24. Can you buy NOW at $649 and they'll match to $299 on Nov 21 ?!?

I'm always amused by all the usual (slightly snobby and/or insecure) comments about using these in bedrooms, gyms, playrooms, etc.

Hi, my name is Ash78, and I use a budget-priced tv in my family room.

That feels better. Please join me.
Still using my open box 1080p 720hz Samsung from a decade ago. I paid. $1k for it when it retailed for 2k. I said I would upgrade when it died.

You get the same thing with the budget Android phones. "It would make a good burner"

Hell, those burners are my daily phone.
For $300 you get a nice big TV, and have another $1300-1500 to invest versus a QLED.
I'd rather invest in my sound system.

Exactly. Every time I put my kids to bed, I say "Go to sleep or else!"
