If you are on windows there are some really handy keyboard shortcuts for making a window take up half the screen.

Make the window active, then press Windows key + right/left arrow key. That resizes the window to half the screen dimension and snaps it to the right or left hand of the screen respectively. If you press windows key + Up arrow it maximizes the screen. Windows key plus down arrow minimizes the screen.

If you have two monitors hooked up and say your window is snapped to the left side of the left monitor, you can press the windows key + right arrow multiple times to cycle the window to the right and then onto the other monitor.
Ok, let me post to the right post this time...

I bought this for $250 in store couple weeks ago after my wife's work monitor died. It was obvious this one was going to be on BF for 220 or 200 based on seeing stacks of these right before BF and my plans were to ask for the difference which I know my costco's good about. Since then I've ordered and received few monitors for kids gaming and other work.... but honestly if you're looking for a nice non-gaming monitor deal, this is the one. Love the IPS... not a fan of +32" not being a curve but every corner is very clear on this one.

I'm not a super tech genius like some of experts here, but if you're an average Joe looking for a nice monitor and have Costco Membership, no brainer. Connected this to my kids fortnite and it's def playable for casual gamers although I wouldn't be dumb enough to recommend this to a gamer.

Ergonomics is excellent as it has vertical as well as tilt adjustment.

One and only con about this that was already mentioned.... the power cord is short as heck.
This is an IPS screen that is great for color accuracy and viewing angles. If your nephew is mostly into gaming, the higher frequency screen may be better. I would go with the Walmart one for gaming.

Not taking a shot at LG monitors. I have a 32" LG 1080p that has worked perfectly for years. People say 32" is too big for 1080P, if you are blind what do you care. I use 1440p for my own computers.

The first thing you look for in a monitor is the connections. If it has a display port input, that is a good sign. That means it's not a bottom of the barrel panel. This one comes with 2 HDMI inputs. If you are looking bottom of the barrel, a VGA input as well or only would be bottom of the barrel.

Someone said this was $149 in store at Costco. That would be a decent price for HDMI inputs.
My 77" OLED is HDMI only. Is it bottom of the barrel?

If you can find a monitor with a 15-pin analog connection still - I will be impressed.

Absolutely do not judge a monitor by its connectors. Period.

The same monitor with a display port is $100 more.

Last Christmas, I got a 24" monitor for $48 with a VGA connection for an old garage PC. The display port is for PC's and not for TV's.

Anyone know of a good 32" curved for office use on my Mac? I can't find one that's not crazy expensive. Hoping to find a 1440

Purchased this last month from Costco for $250. It is a really good monitor for general and office use. Though I have started seeing an issue where my monitor 'blinks' randomly about 2-3 times in a day. Have heard about poor QA from LG so just be aware of that.

I disagree - yes monitors should be judged by its connection type as well, although maybe not as much as other specs. Upgrading from u3515wb (DP) to pro display xdr (ThunderBolt) was awesome including the cord management aspect of it.

But I agree this guy's comment was "not helpful". He used 1080p for years and felt the need to mention he uses 1440p for himself now, which happens to be the same resolution as this $150 bottom of the barrel. Confusedlaugh out loud

I've purchased this not too long ago, it's actually really good. I actually bought this in the warehouse for $149.99. I know some locations vary. Got mine in 92506 California.
This was never $149. There is a very similar model that was selling for $149, but it was fhd. This deal is for qhd.

Does it matter that this monitor only has 2 HDMI ports? Specs are specs, correct? Looking for a home office monitor.

This for my nephew's gaming PC or the $250 "LG 32" UltraGear QHD (2560x1440) 165Hz HDR 10 Monitor w/FreeSync - 32GN600-B.AUS" from Walmart? Any opinions?

He currently has a 24" 60hz 1600x1200 4ms monitor and has a GTX 1650 or something. Mostly plays Valorant.

Walmart link for reference https://www.walmart.com/ip/LG-32-...hbdg=L1100
As others have said.... Get the higher refresh rate.

2 questions...

1) Does anyone who owns this know if the monitor can be rotated 90 degrees vertically? Thinking about buying 2 of these for dual monitor setup and with my wife's old job she had one that was vertically set up and the other the original horizontal. She prefers it that way for reviewing charts

2) according to Costco return policy, monitors don't fall under 90 Day return window. Says computers but I don't think monitors fall under that. Pasted their electronics return policy below.

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Watches, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract).

How might this compare? Any thoughts?

For office use, the ultra wide seems to have its advantages.
