Home Depot has Just saw it on the floor In the aisle with the yellow sticker. The usual location in the shop vac area still has the original price which is like $49. I'm posting from my phone so maybe if I can edit this post later I can add the picture but I don't have a cool brick link or any of the cool stuff you all usually include in post. But thought I'd get this out there as soon as I could. Thanks

Update: 4hours later here to answer some questions the yellow sticker says it's "duststopper low profile cyc dust separ" 12.03 was 44.97 8/27/2021 1002-741-746
And it contains hard 90 degree elbow, 1 hose 36" 2-1/2" diameter, 1 dust stopper to go on bucket. I purchased because I need that 90 elbow since Home Depot literally doesn't have vac hose 90 elbow anywhere in store that will fit 2.5 rigid vac hose.
Also I would attach photo but I can't figure out from phone how to. Thanks
I have used and they work just fine. Don't hook up a dust collector with 500cfm, just use shop vac and it works great. I put edge of clear tape on fleet farm 5 gallon bucket extra tall and it works fine. You don't need Home Depot Bucket for it to work.

5 Gallon Bucket: $5 (you need 2 for his version, 1 to use DustStopper, so I'll just use one)
(3) 1.5" Straight Connector: $4
(2) 2" Rubber Caps: $6
1.5" PVC 90 Elbow: $1
1.5" PVC 45 Degree Elbow: $2
= $18-$20 (since I rounded down on most prices) + Time and effort
So yeah, I just picked up the kit for $13.

The HD12A is the newer version with two 90 degree sweep elbows.
It's on sale for $40 ($10 off) which was posted on SD a few days ago.
The older HD12 has one 90 degree elbow
This is one one on clearance.
Based on the pictures the unit itself looks pretty much the same. It looks like the only difference is the elbow
Just got one which the box looked a bit busted, tucked behind other items almost as it had been previously opened or hidden on purpose. I bought it anyways. It had just the one elbow, but it was is a sweeping type rather than the 90.
The sweep version should provide better airflow (and probably why they changed it), so I guess I got an "in between" version?

Rick, I believe those are returns (used) from the older version with the 90 degree elbow....
Believe this is the right one
