Expect these to go fast, like past years. I have one from 2019 and I never use it, it's plastic and I wouldn't want to put hot beverages in it.

Yup exactly, I still have mine from 2019 and never used it again. People line up to get the cups snap a few Instagram or Tik Tok vids and will never use it again.

Just because it is reusable doesn't mean you should use it. These are cheap plastic products and if you drink hot liquids often, you shouldn't be pouring it on plastic regardless of it being BPA free or not.
What's your point? If someone is buying a coffee tomorrow, they get this free cup instead of a disposable paper cup. The cup is clearly not the same as a $10+ reusable cup, but the company would be fools to give away hundreds of thousands of $10 cups with a $5 purchase.

And you seem know for a fact that this cup has a lifespan of X days/uses before it starts leaking toxic chemicals into the drink. Why not just get a lawyer and sue Starbucks instead of complaining on SD?

Applies to mobile order and Uber eats delivery as well. While supplies last of course; I don't believe there is a way to tell if they run out of the red cups on either apps though.

All starbucks reusable are trash after they went "Save the Earth".

The starbucks cup I got last year (2020) I use all the time. I only use it for cold drinks though.

We got these last year and thought they would be nicer. Ended up giving them our young nice and nephew with cocoa powder and marshmallows as stalking stuffers and they enjoyed them.
