First post here, let me know if anything needs to be corrected.

IMO this is a good deal. In comparing with the Kobalt backpack blower that was recently posted, I like this unit better for several reasons. One, Ego is top of the line in battery powered equipment. Also the Ego blower weighs 4-5lbs less than the Kobalt (not insignificant when you're lugging it around on your back).

Of course this is a reconditioned model so it's comparing apples and oranges. However, I feel this deal is worth the risk considering it is a $350 unit new. Ego is a reliable brand and this comes with a 1 year warranty.

I just received my email about the ordering being canceled because they were out of stock. I ordered when it was in stock as that's the only way to add to cart and checkout. I'm bummed to say the least...

Canceled here too. Also got an ego chainsaw without the battery because I was planning to use this. Definitely a bit scorched by walmart and acme here.
