Either way, how long before those servers are pulled off line for good? The whole point is you have the physical copy and they can't take it from you, and you can move it to another machine in the event of failure. If the card fails, then you can find a used copy for sale third party. Can't do any of that with digital.
Example: all the games that need updates to be downloaded because the version on the cart is old or incomplete ... Those games you can never really own unless those servers stay up. Sucks.

I was wondering where in the estore does it show my redemption in case I need to download again in the future? I went to account and "redownload" area and don't see my game there. Is it because I already have it installed?
I'm mainly asking this question to see if I have to bother saving/storing the redemption code emailed to me by GameStop
