Just tested it out since I only had a couple days left on my trial. It cancels it immediately. Tried to take part in the 90-day offer afterward and it says it's not available to past members.
I'm a fan of the service
not as many perks as Prime, but can pay for itself if you do groceries and regular small orders. hoping they add additional perks to be more competitive- the exclusive/early access to deals is a good start.

But Heads up, this will NOT make you eligible for W+ Exclusive Black Friday deals.
they have been very explicit that only PAID memberships get that perk.
...guess they learned from the Salesforce fiasco lol

also check you favorite CB/Point/rewards outlets for W+ kickbacks. you can sometimes get a year free or half off
2nd FAQ
Do I have to be a paying member to get early access?
Yes, you'll need to be a paying Walmart+ member to get early access.

Not sure how much more explicit they can be.

I already had a Walmart account and when I clicked on the link it asked me to log on. Once I logged on it showed the Walmart+ Trial membership. Thanks

For me it's 88 days (expires 2/20/2022) but whatever. I also just learned it won't give you access to Black Friday early deals so that's a bit of waste. Do you or anyone know if I add the Amex 50% off paid membership on top of this trial, will it extend the days AND give me access to BF early deals? Or it won't kick in as PAID membership until the trial is over?

It would end on 2-20-22 if you signed up today because December and January have 31 days.
Yeah mine shows 2/20/22.

I just signed up and on the account overview page [walmart.com] there is a box for Early Access that says "not available to trial members" and right below that is a "Start paid membership" link. Clicking on that takes me to a page showing their monthly and yearly rates and a first payment of today. I would think that is going to cancel the trail and start the payments immediately.

Also, I just noticed that the existing card on my Walmart account doesn't automatically populate the Walmart+ membership page. I have to specifically link one of the existing payment methods for the autopay to happen at the end of the trial.

Amazon is garbage now.. I used it to buy parts for business and I always got the, your order is available for 2 day shipping and sometimes next day, always late and or lost package.

I call them and tell them I have cameras on the property and never saw any Amazon driver drop it off.

It's because they're using door dash or whatever 3 party to deliver it that they want a tip and extra fees.
I know...it's just crazy how they deliver my packages that were supposed to be shipped through doordash and it's $0 and $0 tip. It just tells you delivery by [date], but ends up there that day or the next from doordash. But if they say it's through their $98 a year service, they have doordash deliver it for a fee and a tip Confused

I signed up. I don't have a credit card on file so the trial should cancel on its own

I haven't placed an order yet while on the trial, but it doesn't seem to be related to any cards you have for regular purchases. You have to link one of those to the Walmart+ account for renewal to work.
https://www.walmart.com/account/plus/manage

When you click to add a payment method it will show any cards (but not gift cards) you have on file.

Do you have to tip the driver each and every time, or are they compensated through Walmart?

So if I sign up for Walmart+ I still need to meet the $35 min when shipped? It seems that some folks are still seeing a fee for under $35 cart. What am I paying for then?

I placed a $20 order after signing up, had free shipping as expected, no $35 minimum.
