Just a warning last time I bought from Office Depot (shipped to me) they were very old and the battery was dead. And same with everyone else in that thread.

Serial number on the box shows the year and month it was manufactured and it was something like 5+ years ago.
(Trying to remember off the top of my head, I think serial is in the form of #BYYMM### if you're picking up in store)

No it doesn't. The BN series have a usb Comms port for PCs and probably NAS. However, this BVN series only has a usb port on the top for charging phones, etc.

They do not have replaceable batteries, even the earlier ones which came with replaceable batteries
had odd battery sizes. Batteries are difficult to find and expensive.

What? I'm shocked to hear APC makes a UPS that doesn't have some kind of port for PC monitoring/shut down.

I was in a hurry when I ordered 2 for shipping this morning, and I didn't notice this issue mentioned in the first few pages of the thread. I just checked the description/specs, saw it said it has a USB port for PC monitoring, and I ordered. How would I know that was bad info they never updated? I'm not even sure what use a UPS is that can't shut your PC down nicely if there's a longer power outage.

I logged in and there's no option to cancel already and no option for online chat today. Can I take them both UPSes when they arrive to a nearby Office Max store for a full refund (it was free shipping for 2)?
