I'm on Redpockets AT&t and my wife is on Redpockets Verizon. 3 years with Red Pocket.
Call Quality:
My wife has been very happy with the call quality on Verizon. She uses her phone for office meetings from time to time with no issue. I use my AT&t red pocket exclusively for my business and personal calls and have been very happy with the call quality. We do not have a home phone line (who does these days?).
Data Quality:
My wife seems to be affected by peak time throttling as every once in awhile it feels like her phone is running on 2G. It is very short times in areas she normally receives good throughput, so that is why we suspect it is peak time throttling. It doesn't happen enough that we worry about it but at the same time it is frustrating when it does happen. With AT&t red pocket I have never experienced peak time throttling issues and have been very happy with their data throughput. The only issue I can say that I've had with AT&t red pocket data is that every once in awhile I get an error message saying that I was not allowed to hotspot. However, typically a reboot would take care of that. I use hotspot a lot when we travel on our road trips. My wife has not had any issues using hotspot with her Android phone and Verizon red pocket, though, it's my understanding that now RP say they don't support Verizon red pocket hotspotting.
Customer Service:
The few times that we've had to contact customer service they have been available to take our call or chat. Only frustrating time I had with support was when we contacted them because we had a SIM card go bad. Getting them to believe that I knew it was a bad sim card was pointless as they have to do their job their way. However after going through their "by the book" support steps they sent out a replacement Sim and everything has worked fine since then. I wouldn't say it's as good as Verizon over the counter walk-in store service, but it's pretty decent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you're okay using chat support.
Why RP and 2 differnt services:
We take a lot of motorcycle road trips and coverage is important to us so that is why we use two different services to increase our chances of having coverage when the other might not. When splitting up the different carriers, red pocket is definitely the least expensive way to do it that we have found.
Our Phones/Location:
Just in case you were wondering, we're both running new flagship Samsung. I run the Zfold 3 and she has the latest Galaxy Note. We live in the Tigard Oregon a suburb of Portland. We often travel the the back Mountain roads of the western states.
As always your results May vary 😁

They should fix their system. It is not difficult. So much time is wasted.
