Having all kinds of issues with their website. Some orders are going through, but most recently are not. My credit card is being charged full amount, but my order history only indicates tax being charged, and Qty is "0". Order numbers are being assigned. I am either going to get 5 identical items or zero.
i used my BOA cash rewards card to buy from their outlet last year and it charged me a fee. i called BOA to ask about it and got them to remove the fee
no where on the outlet does it say anything about a foreign transaction fee
Thanks! I saw them have a separate item on their FAQ regarding foreign transaction fee so I thought it might be a concern. I know chase freedom charges a 3% foreign transaction fee so I am debating whether using that card via PayPal for 5% quarter promotion..
I am new to this brand. Can someone please educate me on what would be ideal for New Jersey winters? I see that there is Atom, Cerium, Beta AR, Zeta AR, parkas and several others to pick from. Super confusing.

None? For just walking in winter temps you can get coats just as warm, more durable, and much less expensive. This is meant for high mobility/active pursuits where low weight and high mobility are main concerns.
If you just want to spend money though, atom AR, or thorium AR, would be my recommendation.

Nice stuff but over priced even at 25% off unfortunately. Sometimes the atom lt can be found for around 40% off, which is worth it.
Their once excellent quality is sadly long gone. I believe they were bought out and ran to China for production. I have one of their water proof coats that's well over 20 years and it still looks and performs as new. Made in Korea with excellent stitch detail.
Found this: "In January 2001, Arc'teryx was purchased by the Adidas-owned Salomon Group. In May 2005, Amer Sports purchased the Salomon Group from Adidas. Since 2019, the Amer Sports Corporation is owned by the Chinese Anta Sports group"

It's still pretty good quality, even if not as good as before. It's just a bit crazily priced. I can't think of an outdoor brand with as consistently high quality except perhaps Patagonia or feathered friends.

This is definitely an attempt of trying to fool customers, Arcteryx Therme Parka was $699 last week, and now it's $850 and they're giving 20% off. What a joke. I love their products but such tactics will only damage their reputation.
These stuffs are expensive as hell but the quality is best in class. I have a ski jacket that is over 10 years old and still as good and as waterproof as new.
Yes, decent quality but seriously 10 years is nothing for a good quality product. I've had North Face, Eddie Bauer, Patagonia, etc. all go way past that with heavy - extensive use - and the older products are still better made than the stuff you get today from almost everyone. I've given away stuff that was as functional 12+ years later, and looked as good as when purchased.
Sorry, but IMO this stuff is over priced and should only be bought on big sales, like 40%+ off.

Agreed - that's a common dirty sales tactic. See it often on amazon.com as well. I will say that the Atom AR had been $300 (at least in recent memory) prior to this sale price of $225.

Basically every men's item between $70 - $200 is out of stock but showing up in searches. Was able to grab a couple of womens sweaters at good prices.
