Are there any deals on these this year? Particularly the ones meant for adults with a higher weight capacity (200+). I have seen several different starting in the $300-$350 range regular price and the obviously go way up from there.

It's still a little pricey but Best Buy has the Segway Ninebot E45 on sale for $699. I bought it a couple days ago and the build quality alone is worth that price tag. I was nervous about paying that and it breaking like the rental ones always do but this is worlds different than those and I'm sure I'll get years out of it. I researched and have been looking for a couple months now before getting that one for whatever it's worth.

The Verve from Gen3 is $499 with $250 off with code BF250. It's 350W with a 20 mile range, 15.5mph top speed, tubeless tires, 8.5" wheels/tires, 225 lb. limit, handbrake, front and rear LEDs, tripmeter/odometer, and a companion app. Not a name I've heard of but specs stand up well for a better price. Leaning this way right now.

It looks like a better version of the Hover 1 Alpha which Best Buy sells for $350. With added features like the App integration, IP54 rated, slightly lower weight and puncture proof tires plus a 1-year warranty opposed to 90 days of the Alpha you can't go wrong at $100 less. It does have a smaller motor but it also weighs less and has a better battery. I think for $250 I'm going to grab one for my wife. I'm unfortunately too heavy for it so I'm still looking for myself. I was not impressed with the Alpha so I'm returning it.

Seems like a superior scooter to the Gen3 at only $50 more.
